Update 0.58 introduces two of the most requested community features: Background Battles and In-game Chat. This patch also expands the roster with 12 new units, rebalances the Pentiax boss fight, and implements a sophisticated diminishing returns system for Crowd Control in the Arena.
New Major Features
- Background Battles: Players can now run Multi-Battles in the background while performing other tasks like upgrading Invokers or swapping Relics.
- Unlocks at: Player Level 25.
- Modes: Available for Campaign, Spires, and Bosses.
- Requirement: The game must remain open for Background Battles to progress.
- UI: A home screen indicator tracks progress, with alerts triggering upon completion or interruption.
- In-Game Chat: A new social system allows direct communication through various language-based channels.
- Unlocks at: Player Level 2 (immediately after the tutorial).
- Social Feed: The chat will display global notifications when players summon Legendary units, fuse Invokers, or reach Level 20 with Relics.
New Content: Invokers & Titans
Six new Invokers and six new Titans have joined the fray, including the first Legendary Titan for the Cambion faction.

Arena & Combat Overhaul
Crowd Control (CC) Diminishing Durations: To prevent players from being “stunlocked into oblivion,” a new diminishing returns system has been implemented for all hard CC (Stun, Freeze, Chain, Launch, Taunt).
- The Window: A 10-second timer starts upon the first CC debuff.
- Scaling: Subsequent CC within that window is reduced: 1st (100%), 2nd (50%), 3rd (25%), 4th (10%), and 5th (0%).
- Immunity: Receiving 4 CC debuffs within the 10-second window grants a 7-second CC immunity after the last active effect expires.
Arena Balance & Matchmaking:
- Bespoke Modifiers: Developers can now tune buff/debuff lengths specifically for the Arena without affecting PvE.
- Matchmaking: Ranges have been narrowed to ensure more competitive matchups. A bug where top Gold IV players faced Bronze opponents has been fixed.
Battle Improvements:
- Player Input Override: Tapping a skill in Auto Mode now forces the AI to use it immediately rather than repositioning first.
- Skill Queuing: Players can now queue skills to activate immediately after a control debuff wears off.
- Healer AI: Improved positioning logic, including better pathfinding on moving platforms like elevators.
PvE & Boss Updates
Pentiax Rebalance: To fix issues where Pentiax would fly out of bounds, the “Fall of the Void” skill has been replaced with Roar of the Eternal.
- New Effect: Pentiax breathes fire in a 30m radius and summons 5 Fire Elementals.
- Note: Magma Slimes have been removed from the fight to reduce distractions.
Campaign & Spires:
- Stage Length: Chapters 4-5 (Normal) and Chapters 1-5 (Hard/Insane) have been shortened for a more dynamic experience.
- Spire Rewards: Increased drops for Rare/Epic Codexes, Rare Prisms, and Radiant Stars.
- Destiny Stars: The number of Destiny Stars awarded for Campaign milestones has been rebalanced (generally reduced in early stages but increased in late Insane milestones).
System & QoL Changes
- Summoning Guarantee: Radiant Stars now feature an unlimited guarantee system (Epic every 30 stars) after the first three sets. Destiny and Fate Stars now share a 30-star guarantee counter.
- Invoker Rating: Common and Uncommon Invokers only need to reach Level 40 to be rated.
- Pause Menu: Now displays missing stats like Launch debuff descriptions and tick values for Bleed, Burn, and Regeneration.
- Daily Login: Rewards extended to Day 270, including Nightguard Aleksu (Day 210), Almea (Day 240), and Elder King Thalbrennar (Day 270).
- Shop “Calendars”: New items that provide guaranteed resources every day for a set duration.
Unit Rebalances
- Admiral Gladstone: Significantly buffed with increased Defense scaling on Skill 1, removed Crit requirement for Skill 2 (now also applies Mindworm), and changed Skill 3’s shield to scale with Max HP.
- Charvaine the Hypnomancer: Ultimate buffs now snapshot her stats upon entering battle.
- Bosko: Combo attacks now target a single enemy.
- Titan Timing: Invokation effects now trigger faster based on rarity: Legendary (1.0s) and Mythical (0.9s).
- Carnai: Stun duration reduced from 4.25s to 2.5s at Level 3.
Language Support: Added German, French, Italian, Turkish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Improved support for Ukrainian and Spanish.
